Teamwork Skills 9th December

Today we are having a group discussion and goals on having our christmas party. This is a collective on the things we came up with for what we want at our christmas party. My taking part bit is in red.

We had to find away to come to an agreement in our team and here are some ways on how to come to a decision. One way is to have  raffle and other way could be drawing straws,questionnaire or even a vote.

CHRISTMAS DINNER

This is the choice for our christmas dinner the way we came to the group decision was by as vote. These are some of the ideas when we came up with all the suggestions we went round and asked everyone what they wanted then we marked it off on the sheet

CHRISTMAS DINNER MENU

As a part of our team working skills unit i designed a Christmas dinner menu. We used our independent skills to design our own menu and once we created the menu we used a group vote to see who's menu we wanted to use for the christmas day party.

which charity 16th december 2015

Today as a group we made a decision on what charity we wanted to support, either Oxfam Syria Crisis Appeal or either Christmas Jumper Day. As a group we choose Christmas Jumper Day. On friday we are going to go round the offices and collect money for the charity 

I think the team working skills was a success because we achieved our goal to  organised a christmas party and it was also enjoyed by the people that came.

our individual role was to design a christmas menu. Also we all had to wear christmas jumpers for charity.

The collective activities were deciding on what charity we wanted to support this was done by a vote,  once we decided we went round and collected money from other departments in the building.

The thing that was most successful was the vote and also the event was also a success and we also raised £38 for charity.

The thing that didn't work was that we didn't use the time wisely because we did not have enough time to choose which menu we wanted to use.

Sound and Audio Production Skills Level 1 20th November 2015

I found a beat on the internet (youtube) and the downloaded it then remix it so it was my own. The beat is called ' i am Oldschool Hip Hop beat' by Blunted Beatz. I used Logic Pro to remix this beat using a sample and repeating a loop. The sounds i used was kik hip hop,warm strings and audio.

This computers have no wires near them only the mouse wire and there is no food or drinks so there were no accidents. The thing that went well for we was that i enjoyed the beat plus i managed to get the sample to work in the right tempo and key and i also managed to finish my work

I made sure i followed health and safety guidelines by not having the music too loud in my headphones and there are no tangled wires. The thing that i could improve on most in my work is adding beats into my work and making them sound good and also adding drops in my work so it sounds a lot better

What went well was that i found the beats easy and once adding them together they sounded like they were a match. I think i picked up alot of skills on this piece of work by just finding the right beats, production skills  gained on logic pro.

What i need to improve in my work is that i need to improve on my working independently and to not give up to easy if things don't match up and also i need to work on getting the tempo right and getting everything in tune. i need to learn how to understand timing when i am creating the beats i either go to quick or to slow and i need to get it just right.
